T.G.I.F. with Matt Dawgs: #407

Good day to you all and welcome to We Want Insanity. I am your host for today, Matt Dawgs and this is my column. Today is the end of the work week and the time to look back at all the goings-on over the past seven days as I wrap it up with a bow and spout it out bit by bit. Buckle up. Enjoy the ride.

IMPORTANT MATT NOTE:: I don’t normally request much but as some of you who follow me on social media may know, I have a 7 year old cousin who is currently battling an aggressive form of cancer called neuroblastoma which effects 700 kids annually in the United States. He is a warrior who is fighting this with more strength than adults show. If possible, can you please take the time to donate to help him and his parents financially through this battle. If not, I understand. At least take a minute to copy the link from here and post it on your social media. Perhaps one of your friends or family members would be willing to donate. No set amount being asked for. Whatever you can afford. As little as $1 if that is all you can contribute. Everything helps. As of now, they are responsible for only 20% of his medical bills to date. That may not seem like a lot but when his year to date bills have already surpassed $1,000,000 and they owe 20% of that, well you get the picture. So please, if you can. Thanks.

JAIDAN STRONG!!!!

WWE NEWS AND NOTES:

- RAW was a decent show but once again, and I must sound like a broken record, but a 3 hour show is just way too long. It feels like an eternity sitting through this show even when it isn’t bad so imagine sitting through it when it isn’t good. They need to shorten it. It would make these shows so much more watchable. Watching Smackdown, even when it’s bad, is easy.

- The opening segment was great and is how Brock should ALWAYS be on television. Him coming out and standing next to Heyman while smirking periodically is boring and a waste of an appearance. Him coming out from time to time and laying waste to people is HUGE. It gets a reaction and makes him look like a monster. I loved the segment of him murdering The Miztourage.

- Side note: The crowd chanting “Joe” during the segment is definitely telling. WWE is onto something with Joe and better not f*ck it up after Summerslam. They have a monster in Brock and Brock is definitely something special but they also can have that in both Joe and Strowman. What’s better about the both of them is that they could have that monster presence full time instead of part time.

- Again, still intrigued by the whole Rollins/Ambrose angle. They hooked me in. I am ok with it even though I know it is leading to their reunion. WWE has MONEY when they decide to add Reigns to the mix and unite all three of them. The pop they get, despite the crowd hating Reigns is going to be incredible.

- I am hoping that Vince got the memo about how he ruined Bayley because she under no circumstances should EVER be booed. Yet she was booed on Monday. That shows the damage booking has done to her character. It is amazing to me that NXT takes characters and makes them special and makes the fans care about them and then Vince undoes all of that the minute the come up to the main roster. Just take a look at Tyler Breeze, The Ascension, The Vaudevillians, Bayley, Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn, etc. The list goes on and on. Sure some of them wouldn’t have made it like the Ascension. But right out of the gate they were made to look stupid so fans bought them as stupid and now they are buried. Tyler Breeze was main eventing NXT shows before he got called up. Now he is a comedy guy in the Santino spot. Vince has this mindset that by booking someone to be an underdog and beating them at every turn will get them over because it worked for Daniel Bryan. Bryan was the exception, not the rule. Treating someone like a jobber has NEVER worked before.

- Even the booking of Sasha Banks is stupidity. Thankfully she has enough charisma to get it over and stay over but she absolutely SHOULDN’T be a babyface and she shouldn’t have turned when the turned her last year. They could have had a long run with her as a heel.

- Does anyone have a tally of when Enzo Amore last won a match via pinfall or submission? Anyone? Going back to when he and Cass were still friends an teaming, when did he last win? Anyone? Poor Enzo.

- Props to Cass for getting punched right in the f*cking face by Big Show. OUCH. He sold that perfectly though. May have been my favorite spot on all of RAW.

- Bray Wyatt, ugh. Same goddam speech week in and week out.

- Match of the night honors go to Cesaro and Ambrose. I really wish they would have given Cesaro a singles run. He didn’t have to win the world title or anything but having him in main events would have been excellent since he works such a main event style.

- As noted above, that Shield reunion is going to be big. We shall see on RAW when Rollins and Ambrose finally reunite this coming Monday as a preview of when they eventually reunite with Roman.

- FANTASY BOOKING BREAK: How awesome would it be if this was all a ruse and they reunite on Monday as babyfaces but then help Roman win the title at Summerslam and thus all three of them become heels? The crowd would sh*t all over Ambrose and Rollins if they helped Roman win the title wouldn’t they? The Shield back together as heels to dominate Raw? Then you could turn both Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman babyface.

- Legit fast forward through all Akira Tozawa segments. What is the story with him and Titus? Anyone?

- Nia Jax is improving. I really wish WWE would have someone work with her to get her gimmick and style down pact. Look at Strowman. He was by no means good when he got his solo push. But he figured out what to do and what to stick to and it works. He is super over. Jax could be the same if you don’t take her out of her comfort zone. She shouldn’t have to sell much nor should she be trying to “wrestle”. Everyone else is so much smaller than she is. Let her dominate. If you need her to lose, have her “slip on a banana peel” or get disqualified or something.

- A complete and utter f*cking waste of Goldust to make him a manager. I hope they don’t go that route but she sure hinted they would. He could absolutely help a young up and comer get better by wrestling and feuding. SMH. Does no one remember how far Finlay took Bobby Lashley and others when he was still wrestling full time?

- Strowman and Reigns work so goddamn well together. It is fantastic to watch. Their Last Man Standing match was excellent. I was happy with the finish as well because it put some focus back on Joe after losing last week. It showed that he could choke out both Strowman or Reigns and that he could hang with them.

- As witnessed on Tuesday, most WWE fans, well in Toronto anyway do not view Jinder Mahal as really being Indian and instead due to the pop he got against Randy Orton, they view him as native Canadian. Which he is.

- Did WWE completely give up on anything involving Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder? Are they going to push them? Are they going to split up? Does anyone remember when Mojo won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal? Remember when WWE was going to make the Andre Battle Royal a legit important thing? Does anyone remember the winners without looking it up? In order?

- Corbin’s new music is almost as bad as Big Cass’.

- I really need Daniel Bryan to wrestle again. Yeah Yeah, I know about his health. That’s just me being selfish but I really think he could contribute as a top guy right now and that he would be a certified main eventer at a time WWE could really use some main eventers, on both brands. It sucks that he gets an ultimate Superstar reaction that only Cena and Lesnar get. All of the other main eventers on both brands don’t get the same reaction as those three names. That is including A.J., Roman, Rollins, Joe, Nakamura, etc. Strowman is getting there but not even he gets the Cena/Lesnar/Bryan pop.

- Left Hand not knowing what the Right Hand is doing. Tye Dillinger comes out and is announced from being from Niagara Falls New York. 15 seconds later Tom Phillips on commentary notes that Dillinger is from nearby St. Catherine’s Ontario. Um….dude.

- Very babyface thing to do of the New Day to have Big E. distract the Usos so that Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods jump them from behind. Wait a second…..

- Ok, so I have been a proponent of the Fashion Police stuff because it is funny and they have held their own doing it but this week’s edition was crap. Aliens? Anal probing? Arn Anderson destroying Tully? Lame.

- Where are they going with the Lana storyline and why are they still making her wrestle when her value is with Rusev?

- Kevin Owens = True Heel. Instead of playing up that they were in Canada thus trying to garner babyface sympathy, he drops a line about a McMahon screwing a great Canadian before causing a “You Screwed Bret” chant only to use that line as a set up to say that “Bret deserved to get screwed.” LMAO!!! GOLD!!!! Then when Styles offered to defend the title in Toronto against Owens, Owens noting that he wants to win the title in the U.S., a country that matters was amazing.

- James Ellsworth is back. This is disappointing. I mean he is good to have around to have someone to get beat up but I was ok with Carmella by herself.

- Why have Orton pin Mahal clean? And if you didn’t have a choice because you didn’t want Orton to lose again, then why book the match in the first place? Ugh.

- Angle alert, angle alert. Nikki Bella tweeted yesterday that she will be ringside at Summerslam for the John Cena vs. Baron Corbin match.

- WWE announced yesterday that the WWE Network will finally launch in China and will be ready before Summerslam next weekend. The debut is on August 18th and will be available through PPTV via all means such as Smart TV’s, Smart Phones, Set Top Boxes, tablets and the Chinese version of the WWE and PPTV websites. This is HUGE for WWE if they get a significant amount of subscriptions.

- WWE is pushing the 20th Anniversary of DX which was formed on August 11th, 1997. At 3:00 pm ET today they will be showing a new “Flashback Friday” special with a marathon on DX. WWE Superstars also paid tribute to DX by posing for photos and videos on the website in DX shirts doing DX poses.

- Summerslam is scheduled to be a 6 hour show including the pre-show.

- The “out” for the Jason Jordan angle (No pun intended) is for Jordan to turn heel on Angle and say it was all set up from the beginning. I’m not saying that is the road they are going down because right now there are no plans to abort yet but that is in WWE’s back pocket when the time comes. I am all for it if they go that route. Hell, I am all for turning Jordan now before announcing that he isn’t Angle’s son. Have him be a heel with Kurt remaining a babyface but subtly still helping Jordan in the process.

- The pairing of Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax is two-fold. First off, Bliss while learning and picking up well is still not as competent in the ring as the other top females in the company i.e. Charlotte, Natalya, Becky, Sasha, Bayley, etc. She is good but not that good so having a “heater” by her side is great for her to be a heel. Secondly, she and Jax are best friends outside the company and have been for some time. So they work well together because they travel together and know each other well.

- Bayley was officially diagnosed with a separated shoulder from her match with Nia Jax last week and has been ruled ineligible for Summerslam. Jax will be taking on Sasha Banks on RAW Monday to decide the new challenger.

- Scott Dawson apparently tore his biceps and will be evaluated. If it is a partial tear, he could be back right after Summerslam. If it is a full tear however he will miss approximately 4 – 6 months. The Revival can’t seem to catch a break or get off the ground. First Dash Wilder broke his jaw as soon as they debuted and now a match at the biggest PPV of the year against the Hardys likely off due to this. Ugh.

- Paige underwent a CT scan this week. No word on the results but it is expected that she will be cleared to return to action following the test. I am not sure if WWE is keen on bringing her back especially with all of the drama that she has been involved in over the past several months but she seems eager to get back to work.

- Darren Young has been medically cleared to return to wrestling following his elbow injury.

- As of now, all talks between the Hardys and Global Force Wrestling are DEAD. No further talks are scheduled so it seems like it is going to have to go to court. That is a shame but as much as people knock GFW for their stance on this, legally if it is their right then it is their right. If the shoe was on the other foot, there is ZERO PERCENT chance that Vince would entertain the idea of letting another company infringe on his intellectual property.

- Speaking of the Hardys, they were not on the live events in Canada last weekend or on RAW on Monday because WWE was not sure if Jeff would be able to get into Canada due to his drug conviction. Jeff is cleared to work in Europe now but WWE couldn’t get a straight answer about Canada and time ran out. They were pulled from the Live Event tour. Matt was still scheduled to appear on RAW without Jeff however to shoot an angle with the Revival but once Scott Dawson’s injury occurred, they decided to scrap the angle altogether and Matt was not needed.

- For those of you who have bought the rhetoric WWE put out with Brock “leaving” if he loses at Summerslam, Brock and Heyman are booked for the September 11th RAW as well as the September 24th “No Mercy” Raw PPV.

- There are strong rumblings circulating that MMA star Ronda Rousey has begun training with Brian Kendrick in Los Angeles. If true, this solidifies rumors of a Four Horsewomen vs. Four Horsewomen match in WWE in the near future.

- Kari Sane returns to action this weekend at the NXT Live Event tour after being out of action since the Mae Young Classic was filmed which she suffered a concussion and neck injury.

- NXT Women’s Champion Asuka has been champion for nearly 500 days now. WOW.

- Not sure how this affects Evolve or WWN but Gabe Sapolsky is working in creative of NXT.

- Former ROH Champion Adam Cole may make his NXT debut as soon as the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn show next Saturday. This is NOT confirmed, just the talk.

- WWE allegedly did NOT want to engage in talks about Rey Mysterio returning to the promotion due to Mysterio now being represented by Konnan and thus not wanting to deal with him. What is more telling however is that Mysterio was negotiating with WWE and GFW despite having the biggest contract in Lucha Underground. That isn’t good for LU.

- Hong Kong wrestler HoHo Lun requested and was granted his release from WWE. He was signed for the cruiserweight classic tournament last year and was in developmental ever since never appearing on NXT TV. Lun requested his release due to wanting to return to Hong Kong and care for his ill mother.

- Bronson Matthews a.k.a. Josh Bredl a.k.a. The male winner of the last Tough Enough is still under contract. He has not wrestled however in the last year due to concussion related issues. Bredl was a football player prior to joining WWE so he may have had some concussion issues prior to signing.

- Enzo Amore hasn’t helped his backstage situation as of late. As noted last week, there was talk amongst management about him becoming a part of 205 Live. Enzo earlier this week posted a photo of him without a shirt on with the caption: “206 lbs. of ZERO DIMES given” obviously a shot of him not being able to be on 205 Live because he weighs 206 lbs. Realistically I’d be surprised if he weighed 200 lbs. at all but that is neither here nor there. This was his subtle way of saying that he isn’t going to 205 Live.

- Regarding Eva Marie, she was NOT released but her contract expired. She is free to go elsewhere i.e. GFW but it is likely that she will try to find roles in Hollywood and she is represented by The Rock’s “7 Bucks Entertainment”.

- Speaking of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, he posted a video on his social media as he sat in a tattoo chair about to get his “Brahma Bull” tattoo updated. He did not post the “after” photo yet. Speaking of Johnson, HBO’s “Ballers” has been renewed for a 4th season.

- On the subject of renewals, WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s Broken Skyll Challenge has been renewed for a 5th season by Country Music Television.

- Congrats to Heath Slater as he has opened a wrestling school in Atlanta Georgia and has Ron Simmons, Curtis Hughes, Teddy Long and Jazz.

- I am not sure if or how this will affect the WWE but Disney has purchased BAMTech which is the tech company responsible for the WWE Network.

- Former WWE Star Matt Cappotelli announced that he will be undergoing 6 months of chemotherapy in an effort to battle his latest bout of brain cancer. It will be 29 consecutive days of chemo followed by 23 days off followed by 5 days of chemo followed by 5 days off then repeat (29 days on, 23 days off, etc). This sounds BRUTAL. Best of luck to him in this battle.

NXT TAKEOVER BROOKLYN is on Saturday, August 19th, 2017 from Brooklyn New York and the line-up is as follows:

  • NXT WOMEN’S TITLE: Asuka © vs. Ember Moon
  • NXT TAG TEAM TITLES: The Authors of Pain © w/Paul Ellering vs. SanITY
  • Hideo Itami vs. Alestair Black
  • WWE SUMMERSLAM is on Sunday, August 20th, 2017 from Brooklyn New York and the line-up is as follows:

  • GLOBAL FORCE WRESTLING NEWS and NOTES:

    - GFW returns with their next set of television tapings next week in Orlando beginning on Thursday, August 17th. They plan on taping 12 weeks’ worth of television over 6 days thus taping all the way up to their “Bound for Glory” PPV on October 26th.

    - New LAX member Low-Ki revealed in an interview earlier this week that his wearing a suit to the ring, while inspired by the Agent 47 character from the Hitman video game and movie franchise, was done as a silent protest while working for New Japan back in 2012. He noted that when he was IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion, he was asked to wrestle on a show in Fukushima Japan which was the site of a nuclear reactor disaster just 18 months earlier. He did not want to work that city despite the rest of the roster agreeing. He stood his ground and ended up missing that show. He then dropped the title to Prince Devitt (Finn Balor) on the next PPV and was not used for the next 20 New Japan shows which included 9 television tapings and 1 PPV. That comes on the heels of appearing on 52 New Japan shows in the previous 8 months. He then made his final appearance at the annual Wrestle Kingdom Tokyo Dome show. He wore a suit to the match without anyone in management knowing because it was a protest and he was being “a professional” by doing business on the way out.

    - GFW’s shows last week in New York drew poorly with one show drawing only 330 people. While that may seem fair for an independent show, for a show with a national television that is supposed to be the #2 promotion in the U.S., that isn’t good. It is a shame because by most accounts, the in-ring action was solid and they put on entertaining shows from beginning to end.

    - Konnan is once again back in favor in GFW and is gaining more political power backstage. This is likely due to his friendship with Jeff Jarrett and his ability to coordinate outside talent from Mexico to GFW.

    - The reason Brandi Rhodes requested her release from GFW is due to her landing a role in a television show shooting in Atlanta on her own and GFW requested a percentage of her earnings from said film. Seriously.

GFW DESTINATION Xis on Thursday, August 17th, 2017 from Orlando Florida and the line-up is as follows:

  • GFW WORLD TITLE: Alberto El Patron © vs. Low-Ki
  • SUPER X CUP FINALS: Taiji Ishimori vs. Dezmond Xavier
  • GFW KNOCKOUT TITLE: Sienna © vs. Gail Kim
  • X-DIVISION TITLE: IN A LADDER MATCH: Sonjay Dutt © vs. Trevor Lee
  • Matt Sydal vs. Bobby Lashley
  • Plus, Bruce Prichard makes a major announcement that will shock GFW
  • Ring of Honor / Lucha Underground / Independent / International News and Notes:

    - Ring of Honor put the tickets for their October 15th show in Chicago which will feature Kenny Omega and the show has already set the ticket sales record for the area for ROH this officially making it one of the biggest crowds in company history. They have already sold about 2,300 tickets for the show so far. The ROH attendance record is 3,500 for Wrestlemania weekend last year headlined by the Young Bucks vs. The Hardys.

    - For the first time in over a year, Kazuchika Okada LOST a match as he was pinned cleanly by EVIL in the G-1 Tournament. This will likely sets up a title shot for EVIL in either September or October.

    - The A-Block finals of the G-1 took place today with Tetsuya Naito going onto the G-1 Finals by defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi. Naito will likely go on to face either Kazuchika Okada or Kenny Omega in the finals as their match to determine the B-Block winner takes place tomorrow. The finals will take place on Sunday.

    - Katsuyori Shibata has apparently shown great improvement in his condition according to his doctors however he is still under the impression that he is going to make a wrestling comeback which would be a huge mistake if he did. Especially if it looks like he can live a normal life.

    - The Young Bucks happened to be in Montreal over the weekend when WWE Smackdown was running and they filmed an episode of “Being the Elite” which had cameos of Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and A.J. Styles in the background.

    - ROH Champion Cody has made it clear that his goal is to main event a non-WWE show that has an attendance of 10,000 or more. That is a lofty goal. I can see a show putting on a spectacular line-up that may be able to come close to that amount but in order to do so, the promoter would likely have to take a wash financially. Also, Cody as the main event of that show? Not sure. Maybe New Japan running in the states with a main event of the entire Bullet Club against the top of the New Japan line-up in a multi-person match?

    - Will Ospreay is relocating from the United Kingdom to Australia where he will be working to liven up the independent scene there. He still plans on fulfilling his commitments to ROH and New Japan moving forward but will be doing less U.K. shows as according to him, the U.K. is thriving and he feels like he can contribute to helping Australia grow bigger.

    - Japanese Hardcore Legend Atsushi Onita wrestled for the first (and likely LAST) time in the United States in a decade for Combat Zone Wrestling last weekend in Philadelphia. He was scheduled to wrestle against Matt Tremont but it turned into a 6 man tag after about 10 minutes. To show you how important of a match this was to Tremont, Tremont was HOSPITALIZED from his last wrestling match for 11 days and was only released on the Wednesday before the bout against doctor’s orders in order to wrestle. Had it not been Onita, he would likely still be in the hospital. Onita plans on bringing Tremont to Japan for a 1x1 Deathmatch against him. That is likely why this was turned into a 6 man so that Tremont’s first 1x1 loss to Onita would take place in Japan. Cause lets be honest, Tremont isn’t winning.

    - WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley took his FIRST BUMP in over 5 years and first bump since having hip replacement surgery against Joey Ryan overseas last weekend.

    - I don’t even know what to say TO THIS as there is no defense for it. NONE whatsoever. SMH.

    - Former UFC Star Stephan Bonner will be making his pro wrestling debut this weekend for Amazing Red’s “House of Glory” promotion in Queens. His debut will be against former UFC star Matt Riddle.

    - Apparently things have been smoothed over with Johnny Mundo, his fiancée Taya and AAA in Mexico. All of it is being turned into an angle now for television.

    - Despite being close with Konnan, Alberto El Patron is no longer working for The Crash promotion.

    - Sabu is back taking independent bookings following hip replacement surgery. At age 52 with his wear and tear and the style that he wrestles, this is NOT a good idea.

    - Former WWE Tough Enough winner Sara Lee has once again begun training and will be taking independent bookings in the near future. She was released per her request after getting pregnant by her boyfriend, current NXT wrestler Wesley Blake.

    MMA News and Notes:

    - In terrible news, it has been revealed that Pro Wrestling and MMA legend Yoshihiro Takayama has been paralyzed from the NECK down following a wrestling injury stemming from a bout in May. He landed directly on his head and neck following a botched sunset flip and has not recovered since. He is able to talk but that is the extent of his ability. He cannot move any other part of his body. Tragic. Takayama is best known for his WAR with Don Frye in Pride where both men completely forgot about defense and just continuously punched each other in the head over and over and over again.

    - Rashad Evans lost his 4th consecutive UFC fight last weekend via decision. I really think it is time for Evans to reconsider his fighting career and if not, UFC needs to let him go onto Bellator MMA. He just can no longer perform at the level he is used to performing at.

    - Sergio Pettis defeated Brandon Moreno on the main event of the above show and likely put himself in line for a shot at Demetrious Johnson. Or Ray Borg if he defeats Johnson. HAHAHAHA. Just kidding.

    - Daniel Cormier vs. Jon Jones apparently did 860,000 PPV buys which is good for UFC since they were targeting between 550,000 – 700,000 buys. I feel however that it is a disappointing number since it was a stacked show and Jones should really be drawing 1,000,000 buys. Despite that however, he and Brock will draw 1,000,000 EASILY.

    - Jones revealed on Good Morning America that he and Brock Lesnar will NOT be able to take place for a while so he is waiting on word on his first title defense will be against. It should be Alexander Gustafson in my opinion as he is the biggest name in the division right now. It is too soon for Volkan Oezdemir for the shot despite his impressive wins and if they did, why risk Jones/Lesnar for a fight Jones could possibly lose? I’d go for Jones vs. Gustafson, then Jones vs. Lesnar if Jones wins then Oezdemir after that for the title. Oezdemir can beat someone else in between.

    - UFC has signed both Michael Bisping defending his UFC Middleweight Championship against George St. Pierre and Cody Garbrandt defending his UFC Bantamweight Title against T.J. Dillashaw as the main events for UFC 217 on November 4th at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

    - UFC is also trying to get Cris “Cyborg” Justino defending the UFC Women’s Featherweight title against Holly Holm for this show which would be a triple main event for that show and be a BIG event for them.

    - Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson are looking to get a fight signed between them for the November Madison Square Garden show.

    - There are rumors’ spreading like wildfire that Ronda Rousey has begun training……with WWE’s Brian Kendrick in wrestling. So an apparent WWE debut may be in the works. The Mae Young Classic teased Rousey/Shayna Baszler/Jessamyn Duke/Marina Shafir against Charlotte Flair/Becky Lynch/Bayley/Sasha Banks in the future.

    - There are about 3,000 tickets left for Mayweather vs. McGregor which means the current gate for that show is $60,000,000. WOW.

    - As of right now, 90 – 93% of betting action in Vegas is on McGregor meaning if he wins then Vegas is going to take the biggest sports betting financial hit in HISTORY.

    - For those wondering, UFC is set to make roughly the same amount of money off of Mayweather/McGregor as they would off of a UFC PPV that did 1.8 million PPV buys. Since they have never had a show that did that much, they are set to make more off this fight than they did for McGregor vs. Diaz 2.

    - UFC has signed Anderson Silva vs. Kelvin Gastelum for a November 25th UFC Fight Night in China.

    - One step closer to Instant Replay being approved in boxing and MMA for finishes of fights caused by an accidental foul. The recommendation was approved by the Association of Boxing Commissions and Combative Sports.

    - Former WWE Star Michael Manna a.k.a. Stevie Richards has been hired by Colby Covington to help with strength and conditioning at American Top Team.

    - The CONOR MCGREGOR SONG.

    - BONUS Random ARTICLE of the week PART 1: It gets real hard and taxing on me to read and link these articles every week. I get sick to my stomach over this. Ugh.

    - BONUS Random ARTICLE of the week PART 2: The President of the Philippines RULES!!! LOL.

    - BONUS Random ARTICLE of the week PART 3: Terrible way to go. Wow. Craziness.

    - BONUS Random ARTICLE of the week PART 4: Is this sensationalism? Fabricating a story? Nowhere does any source say she was killed by a hippo. This is pure assumption. Where are the facts that say this?

    - BONUS Random ARTICLE of the week PART 5: It is coming. WWIII.

    - In news that will once again change how television is watched, Disney has purchased BAMTech, the streaming provider that has assisted WWE with the WWE Network and effective at the end of 2018 will remove all of their Disney and Pixar titles from Netflix and launch their own streaming service in 2019. This will NOT affect the Marvel/Netflix partnership for the time being as Daredevil/Jessica Jones/Luke Cage/Iron Fist/The Punisher/The Defenders will remain on Netflix. Only Disney and Pixar will go at first. No word on the Star Wars universe also owned by Disney.

    - Avengers 4 officially kicked off production yesterday. The end of Phase 3 begins. After Avengers 4 will be the beginning of “Phase 4” for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

    - Fox will try to beat a dead horse once more as they revealed at the Television Critics Association press tour that yet ANOTHER reboot of 24 is in the works only this time it will have no connection to previous incarnations nor feature anyone or anything CTU related. Apparently they have a new concept in the works that will freshen up the show.

    - G.L.O.W. has been renewed for a 2nd season by Netflix. If you haven’t watched yet, you should really give it a chance as it is a fun show and entertaining.

    - For f*cks sake, The Munsters is being rebooted for NBC. I can’t. Hollywood sucks lately.

    - Season 4 wrapped of “House of Cards”. I should be all caught up by next Friday when “The Defenders” launches. So upset I wasn’t watching House of Cards from the beginning. So good. I think I am going to give “Ozark” a try. Anyone watch it? I have no clue what it is about but see everyone praising it on social media.
