T.G.I.F. with Matt Dawgs: #419

Good day to you all and welcome to We Want Insanity. I am your host for today, Matt Dawgs and this is my column. Today is the end of the work week and the time to look back at all the goings-on over the past seven days as I wrap it up with a bow and spout it out bit by bit. Buckle up. Enjoy the ride.

IMPORTANT MATT NOTE:: I am hoping that you readers have taken the time to lend a hand and donated to the JAIDAN STRONG cause for me. I’d really appreciate it if you did; as little as $5 can go a long way. If not, it isn’t a big deal but please at least SHARE THE LINK. I get that finances can be tough for some but taking the time to share a link via your social media doesn’t cost a dime. I’d appreciate it greatly as one of your friends or family members may be able to help out. Thanks.

BONUS MATT NOTE: The Harvey Weinstein scandal in Hollywood has opened up Pandora’s Box on the sexual harassment world of film and television. A running list of celebrities, producers, directors, etc. has begun with so many moving pieces that I believe Hollywood is going to be irreparably damaged once the smoke clears in this. So far Netflix’s “House of Cards” has had production suspended indefinitely due to claims that Kevin Spacey sexually harassed a 14 year old boy who is now an actor. Since then, more claims from other men that Spacey harassed them have come out. That caused a domino effect in Hollywood with claims coming against actor Jeremy Piven, actor/comedian Andy Dick, academy award winner Dustin Hoffman and director Brett Ratner.

WWE NEWS AND NOTES:

- WWE had some activity over last weekend, one of which made zero sense as WWE has come to terms on the releases of Emma, Darren Young and Summer Rae. In the case of Rae, it comes as no surprise as she has been off TV for several months now first due to injuries and then because they had nothing for her. In the case of Young, he injured his elbow in January however was back to working WWE Live Events as of September but just hadn’t been brought back to television yet. It is tough for him because he was even sent to the Los Angeles Clippers game for “WWE night” on Saturday and then was released on Sunday. Emma is the strangest decision of them all. Considering last week in my column I noted how stupid it was for her to have back to back competitive matches with Asuka and then she is released, it makes the matches even more puzzling. Why not have Asuka squash her if she was being let go? Such short sidedness it is insane.

- Emma, Darren Young and Summer Rae all have 90 day no-compete clauses in their release meaning they are unable to appear on television for anyone else until March.

- Lio Rush hasn’t exactly been welcomed with open arms in NXT/WWE. Firstly, in his final independent appearance he raised eyebrows by taking a powerbomb off a ladder through a table and immediately popping back up no selling it ala Road Warrior Hawk back in the 80’s. That pissed a LOT of people in both the WWE as well as fans off. This week, Rush did himself no favors when he made light of Emma’s firing by noting "I guess these are the things that happen when you're not TRULY ready for @WWEAsuka." (he has since deleted said tweet) That tweet stroked the ire of several WWE and NXT and former superstars who all raised hell against Rush including Kevin Owens, Bray Wyatt, Dash Wilder, referee Scott Armstrong, Peyton Royce and others. He is definitely not on most favorite person’s lists within WWE.

- Rush was fairly close to completely losing his job over the tweets as there were discussions over it to let him go. That sure isn’t good for him in the long term. He needs to learn to put his head down and keep his mouth shut.

- A fairly big Raw on Monday as we had a few returns and the revelation that Kurt Angle will be wrestling at Survivor Series. While the main event has not been officially announced, as of now it is scheduled to be a damn good match from an in-ring perspective. The teams are scheduled to be Team Raw consisting of Kurt Angle/Roman Reigns/Samoa Joe/Braun Strowman/Finn Balor vs. Team Smackdown consisting of Shane McMahon/Randy Orton/A.J. Styles/Shinsuke Nakamura/Bobby Roode. WOW.

- Stephanie McMahon officially returned to RAW and I cannot imagine either “Stone Cold” Steve Austin or the Rock standing there like a 6 year old child being scolded by their parents the way Kurt Angle took that verbal ass whipping from Steph on RAW. Holy sh*t is Angle such a p*ssy or what? WOW. I legit felt bad for him for having to stand there and look like a compleye and utter worthless piece of sh*t. It was embarrassing. How come Stephanie refuses to let anyone get one up on her? Where did the day go when people weren’t afraid of wrestlers?

- Roman Reigns has NOT been medically cleared to return to action from his viral infection and will NOT be on the European tour that began on Wednesday and ends Sunday. Triple H has taken his place and is wrestling on all events.

- Bray Wyatt, Jojo Offerman and Bo Dallas HAVE all been cleared and both Dallas and Jojo were on Raw on Monday.

- Also making his return to the ring was Samoa Joe and I swore we were back in 2003 Ring of Honor with the monstrous pop he received while the crowd chanted “Joe, Joe, Joe” over and over. Of course he completely turned heel on them but that may not stick because amazingly enough, if you turn someone into a bad ass that wins matches, the crowd will take to you. It is real funny how that works.

- Despite Michael Cole noting that Braun Strowman would probably be out a few weeks even though he was MURDERED on PPV, Strowman returned to end RAW on Monday and murdered Miz and his Miz-Tourage. It was GOLDEN. He is officially a crowd favorite as they went nuts for his return and destruction of them. He does need to get his hands on Kane.

- Speaking of Kane, Jesus H. Christ, WWE sacrificed Finn Balor again having him get killed on the ramp and tombstones and then he single handedly destroyed Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose making them look like tools and thus deflating the Shield reunion since why should I care about them if Kane kills them? What the f*ck? So stupid.

- What wasn’t stupid was Asuka’s “debut”. Yes I say her “debut” because if we pretend the 2 matches with the newly released Emma never took place then this is exactly how she should have debuted. It was a perfect showcase of her ability and is how she should be booked going forward until she inevitably faces off with Sasha Banks, Bayley or Nia Jax.

- As for the aforementioned Bayley, she is DEAD. WWE has killed her. The crowd gave her absolutely ZERO reaction on Monday and she is just a person on the roster rather than the star she could have been had they booked her correctly. It is sad to see because she has so much potential as a babyface and that was squandered because they didn’t know the formula that HHH used in NXT for her. Such a goddamn shame.

- But Nia Jax is back from her hiatus and she beat Bayley clean. I really wish Bayley would do a heel turn. Maybe she will benefit from it. It worked for Sami Zayn. The problem is, if they go the heel turn route, once she turns face again, she cannot be the bubbly hugging face. That ship will be long gone.

- Props to Alicia Fox. I always give credit where it is due. She is making the best of the opportunity presented to her and it is pretty funny.

- Anderson and Gallows lost to Rhino and Heath Slater in a comedy match. Anderson and Gallows. Once New Japan Pro Wrestling’s most over tag team lost in a comedy match involving pumpkins on RAW. SMH.

- I like Mickie James. I like Alexa Bliss. While they do not mesh as well as people would want in the ring, what they do is passable and I really feel bad that the crowd sh*ts all over them. Chanting CM Punk during their match was unnecessary and you could tell that Mickie was NOT pleased with the chants. They both deserve better as the match didn’t suck.

- When the f*ck is Matt Hardy going to get “broken” or “awoken”? Enough already. Give him the push. Is WWE waiting for Impact to go out of business?

- I get a kick out of this every week. Kurt Angle: “Survivor Series, the only time when Raw and Smackdown go head to head.” LOL. Dude, you just had Finn Balor and A.J. Styles in a singles match two weeks ago at TLC.

- As a “make good” for Roman Reigns missing the European tour due to his viral infection, Triple H took his place this week and became an honorary member of the Shield donning the tactical gear and doing the triple power-bomb and fist bump with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose as they defeated Bray Wyatt, Cesaro and Sheamus. As noted, if it doesn’t happen on TV, it didn’t happen. Yes, WWE showed it on the website but the will likely NOT acknowledge it on television on Monday.

- As of now, Roman Reigns is penciled in to return on the November 13th RAW.

- Being that they are in the U.K. and Europe this week, Raw on Monday will take place from the Manchester Arena. It is expected that we will get the long awaited Kane/Braun Strowman confrontation. Officially advertised for the show is a “Guitar on a Pole” match between Elias and Jason Jordan as well as “Miz TV” featuring Kurt Angle.

- Smackdown, also emanating from Manchester will feature Jinder Mahal defending the WWE title against A.J. Styles and The Uso’s defending the tag titles against Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable.

- It is possible that being in the U.K., we could see the return of Paige next week as she has been medically cleared to return to action and has been training for several weeks at the WWE Performance Center. That is just speculation however as no date has been set for her return.

- Also regarding Paige, it appears that she and former WWE star Alberto El Patron have in fact split up. She has not made mention of him in quite some time nor has she or he for that matter posted any pictures together.

- WWE revealed that the January 22nd RAW will be the 25th Anniversary of the show and will be held in DUAL locations as RAW will be LIVE from the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn as well as their original home of the Manhattan Center in New York City where Raw debuted back in 1993. It is going to be a HUGE show since not only is it the 25th Anniversary of the show but it is the “go home” show for the Royal Rumble PPV. Legends already confirmed to appear are The Undertaker, “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels and Kevin “Diesel” Nash.

- And just so everyone is on the same page, RAW is NOT the longest running show in television history. Meet the Press has been on for 69 years. If you want to exclude news programming, that is fine. Then you could go with the Guiding Light which is a soap opera that has been on for 57 years. No? Soaps don’t count? Ok, How about Sesame Street which has been on the air for 47 years? What? Kids shows are no good for this list? Ok. Monday Night Football has been on the air for 47 years as well. Oh? That’s sports you say? Doesn’t count? Ok then, The Price is Right is going on 45 years. But Matt, that is a gameshow dude. Ok, Saturday Night Live has been on for 42 years. You’re getting my point. It is made even worse when you have Michael Cole publicly say on the air that RAW has been on the air longer than the Simpsons which is a 100% falsehood as Simpsons has been on the air for 29 years now. LOL.

- Former WWI Contributor Les Thatcher was a guest trainer at the WWE Performance Center earlier this week. He is absolutely one of the best minds in the business when it comes to training.

- NXT Female Sarah Logan was engaged to ROH star Ray Rowe of the tag team War Machine.

- There have been discussions of calling up Hideo Itami from NXT for the 205 Live show. That has got to be a major career disappointment for Itami and for WWE as they had super high hopes for him when he signed yet he just couldn’t catch on to the WWE style and has been plagued by injuries for his entire WWE career.

- WWE is also interested in Rockstar Spud for 205 Live. While entertaining as a character, I just do NOT see the appeal in him as an in ring performer. Manager or talker? Yes. Wrestler? No.

- It has been revealed that WWE chose to pass on Stardom star Io Shirai was NOT due to her neck injury which has healed but instead due to a heart situation which WWE felt strongly about. She has been cleared to wrestle by Japanese doctors despite the neck injury and the heart problem but WWE decided it was serious enough to pass on her.

- There has been zero conversations with either Stardom champion Toni Storm or Piper Niven about signing although both were told following the Mae Young Classic that WWE was interested in them.

- NXT star Sawyer Fulton was released this week from the promotion. He was one of the original members of SAnitY when they debuted but was immediately injured and ended up being replaced in the group by Killian Dain. He never returned to TV following the injury.

- It was the end of the road for Nikki Bella on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars as she and her partner were eliminated from competition this week. It was a surprise not only because she got all 9’s for her last dance but because it was an unexpected “double elimination” this week. Had it not been, she wouldn’t have been eliminated.

- A huge indicator in WWE’s growth as a promotion and why they will continue down the path they are on regarding booking/violence, the WWE has sold advertising to Toyota, Craft, Sprint and Pfizer. Those are all bigger names in business that normally wouldn’t have given WWE the time of day in the past. WWE does not only want to keep those advertisers but they want to gain other upper echelon companies to join and they aren’t going to sacrifice that for blood, hardcore, sex or extreme angles.

- Happy belated birthday to former WWE star CM Punk who turned 39 last week. His next UFC fight is close to being finalized and my assumption is that it will fall on the UFC 219 show on December 30th. UFC had wanted Conor McGregor to fight on that card which I do not think is happening.

- Former WWE Star Ed Leslie a.k.a. Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake is working on a “tell all” book which caused Hulk Hogan to respond that Beefcake should get a good lawyer. Suffice to say that Hogan and Beefcake are no longer friends.

- Friendly programming note reminder. The ESPN’s “30 for 30” on WWE Hall of Famer “Nature Boy” Ric Flair debuts on Tuesday, November 7th at 10:00 pm ET. It is said to be very good.

WWE SURVIVOR SERIES PPV is on Sunday, November 19th 2017 from Houston Texas and the line-up is as follows:

  • WWE CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE: Enzo Amore © vs. Kalisto
  • GLOBAL FORCE IMPACT WRESTLING NEWS and NOTES:

    - Alberto El Patron is expected to make his return to Impact this Sunday at the BFG PPV. No word on what he is going to be doing as they were originally looking to book him vs. Rey Mysterio but they are no longer negotiating with Rey and that deal fell through and Jeff Jarrett is now gone from the promotion as he was plan B.

    - Good for Impact for making some money off this show as the building is SOLD OUT with all 1,100 tickets being sold.

    - Rockstar Spud is no longer with Impact Wrestling. He is free to join another promotion as both he and Impact have agreed to mutually part ways. He was NOT released by Impact as he requested to be let go.

    - Also gone is longtime referee Brian Hebner, son of Earl Hebner. He also asked to be let go by the promotion.

    - Reno Scum is also gone as they were a Jarrett signing. That should tell you Impact’s current feelings on Jarrett.

    - It is not expected for Ricochet to be debuting with Impact as he has turned down their offer. He has not made any announcements to his future other than he is not taking any bookings past January which indicate that he is WWE bound.

    - Scott D’Amore and Ed Nordholm are trying to open up negotiations to have a working relationship with both ROH and New Japan. Both were in Japan scouting NOAH but did talk to New Japan while there. D’Amore had a 1x1 with IWGP Champion Kazuchika Okada and apologized for how he was used during his TNA run many years ago. On one hand, it is incredible to look back on that run and see how he was booked. The flip side of that is that he would likely have NEVER gotten as good as he had if he stayed in TNA. He was a solid worker back then but developed incredibly by being released and coming back to NJPW.

    - In sad wrestling news, Live Audio Wrestling, the longest running wrestling related show/podcast was cancelled by The Fight Network. This was likely due to cost cutting by Anthem due to the losses acquired by Impact.

IMPACT BOUND FOR GLORY PPV is THIS SUNDAY from OTTAWA CANADA and the line-up is as follows:

  • IMPACT TITLE: Eli Drake © vs. Johnny Impact
  • OVE (Jake & Dave Crist) © vs. LAX (Homicide/Santana/Ortiz/Diamante/Konnan) in a 5150 MATCH
  • X-TITLE MATCH: Trevor Lee © vs/ Sonjay Dutt vs. Dezmond Xavier vs. Matt Sydal vs. Petey Williams vs. Garza Jr.
  • IMPACT WOMEN’S TITLE: Sienna © vs. Gail Kim vs. Allie
  • STEEL CAGE MATCH: Bobby Lashley & King Mo vs. Moose & Stephan Bonnar
  • FIRST BLOOD MATCH: Rosemary vs. Taya
  • MONSTER’S BALL MATCH: Grado vs. Abyss
  • Ethan Carter III/James Storm/Eddie Edwards vs. El Texano/El Hijo del Fantasma/Pagano
  • Ring of Honor / Lucha Underground / Independent / International News and Notes:

    - Immediately after announcing that Kenny Omega would be wrestling on the ROH San Antonio show going head to head with NXT, the show sold out. So for anyone doubting that Omega is a draw, there is your proof.

    - Sarah Logan in NXT formerly known as Crazy Mary Dobson on the independents got engaged last weekend to Ray Rowe of ROH’s War Machine tag team.

    - Booking 101. Dalton Castle won the ROH Soaring Eagle tournament last weekend and he eliminated Silas Young, Frankie Kazarian and Matt Taven in a Four Way. Imagine that? A four way elimination match and the winner did all of the eliminations. It just so happens that said winner is also challenging for the ROH title at Final Battle which is their “Wrestlemania”. So they decided to book him strong and like a million bucks heading into his main event match rather than do stupid 50/50 booking or have him win by others doing all of the work, etc. Novel concept, I know. WWE booking would have had Castle LOSE the tournament so that there is a challenger ready for him once he wins the title. Or WWE would have had him be beaten up and someone cheat on his behalf to win. You know, to keep everyone in the match strong because you can’t have anyone look weak. SMH.

    - The Young Bucks have been added to Chris Jericho’s Cruise and will be part of ROH’s “Sea of Honor” Tournament taking place on the cruise.

    - Speaking of Hot Topic, they are going to begin carrying the Young Bucks “Cease and Desist” shirts in time for the Christmas Holiday.

    - Best of luck to the best women wrestler in wrestling history, Manami Toyota as she retires today (retirement show probably done by the time you read this) at age 46. She was doing 50 consecutive 1 minute matches including introductions against 50 different opponents.

    - The Crash promotion in Mexico is hoping to have an answer on regarding television soon.

    - New Japan has passed last year’s attendance with 2 months left in the year.

    - The end of an era as Atsushi Onita officially retired from wrestling this week in Japan at age 60. Although this is his 7th retirement match in his career and he has come back so you can never say never regarding him.

    - New NWA Owner Billy Corgan is now going by “William Patrick Corgan” in both wrestling and in his music career. The first NWA Title match under his leadership will be Tim Storm vs. Nick Aldis on November 12th for NWA Hollywood.

    - The former Jack Swagger of WWE fame is considering transitioning into MMA. At age 35 and not having competed in competitive sports since college, this is NOT a good idea.

    - ROH’s “Final Battle” is SOLD OUT from the Hammerstein Ballroom on December 15th.

ROH “FINAL BATTLE” PPV is on Saturday, December 15th, 2017 from New York City and the line-up is as follows:

  • ROH TITLE: Cody © vs. Dalton Castle
  • The Briscoes (Mark & Jay) vs. Bully Ray & Tommy Dreamer IN A STREET FIGHT
  • ROH TV TITLE: Kenny King © vs. Punishment Martinez vs. Silas Young vs. Shane Taylor
  • Marty Scurll vs. Jay Lethal
  • The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian) vs. War Machine (Hanson & Rowe)
  • ROH TAG TEAM TITLES: The Motor City Machine Guns © (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelly) vs. The Kingdom (Matt Taven & T.K. O’Ryan) vs. Chuckie T & Trent Baretta
  • MMA News and Notes:

    - Tomorrow night marks the return of George St. Pierre to the octagon after a 4 year hiatus as he challenges Michael Bisping for the UFC Middleweight Championship. I have always been a big fan of GSP but there is zero chance that he is not going to have any rust on him. A 4 year layoff in the prime of your career is hard to bounce back from. Bisping, despite being champion is on the downswing of his career due to the mileage he has on his body but he is still a serious threat. I would say that GSP of old beats Bisping but GSP with 4 years off, 3 reconstructive knee surgeries and fighting above his weight class, loses. It sucks to say because I’d like to see him succeed and become another name UFC can count on to draw but it will be an uphill battle. Even if GSP does succeed tomorrow night, what are his choices? He is going to have his hands full with a stacked middleweight division and if he bounces back down to Welterweight, I don’t think he beats current champ Tyrone Woodley. He is kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. A win could get him a mega-fight with Conor McGregor but that is about it. That long wished for mega fight with Anderson Silva is long gone. No one would care about that fight. So he has to look like a million bucks, win in convincing fashion and smash Bisping in order to garner interest in future non-superfights.

    - During the press conference on Thursday hyping tomorrow’s UFC 217 show, Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt insinuated that T.J. Dillashaw does steroids and showed all of Team Alpha Male how to use them and not get caught. Um….that 100% insinuates that Garbrandt does steroids considering he and T.J. were teammates at Team Alpha Male before T.J. left. SMH.

    - UFC ran a show in Brazil last weekend that saw Lyoto Machida have his first fight in 2 years due to both an injury and drug suspension against Derrick Brunson and Machida had his lights put out quickly in the 1st round by a left hook followed by a ground and pound. Brunson is a man on a mission as of late and Machida’s jaw may be done. Once you lose that as a fighter, it all goes downhill from there. This is also Machida’s 3rd consecutive loss so at age 39, it may be time to begin thinking about life post MMA.

    - The other main fight of the show saw Colby Covington defeat Demien Maia and then cut a scathing promo on Brazil that had the crowd pelting him with garbage, water bottles, etc. as he exited the ring causing UFC to bolster security for him not only as he exited the octagon but exited the arena and posted guards outside his hotel room. Covington then “apologized” for his comments by saying: “I would like to formally apologize to any filthy animals I offended by comparing them to my hosts in Sao Paulo.”

    - Tough break for Rachel Pennington, LITERALLY. Both she and Amanda Nunes had come to verbal agreements for Pennington to get a title shot at the December 30th UFC 219 PPV. She ended up breaking her calf muscle in an ATV accident while vacationing with her family. The injury was so severe that there was a fear that she would have to have her leg amputated from the knee on down which obviously would have put an end to her MMA career. She was lucky. Pennington had already been out of action for a year due to shoulder surgery so she is going to be missing a lot of time.

    - CM Punk is close to finalizing the date for his 2nd MMA fight.

    - To say that Jon Jones is one of Dana White’s least favorite people and will not be receiving a Christmas card from the White family is an understatement. Per an interview earlier this week, White called Jones “The biggest waste of talent in the history of sports.” as in ALL sports, not just MMA. Ouch.

    - White also clarified that Mark Hunt was NEVER cleared to fight and UFC offered to fly him First Class to Las Vegas to visit a brain center to be evaluated following all of his claims of loss of memory, etc. Hunt refused.

    - Conor McGregor decided to play a dangerous game of chicken that could put an end to his MMA career as he noted at the Dublin premiere of his “Notorious” documentary that he will NOT fight for UFC again unless he is made “co-promoter” of his fights. I completely DO NOT see that happening. It sets a terrible precedent if they do for future fighters if they give into Conor’s demands.

    - Speaking of Conor, he was named the cover person for EA Sports “UFC 3” to be released in February.

UFC 217 is TOMORROW NIGHT from New York, New York and the line-up is as follows:

  • UFC MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE: Michael Bisping © vs. George St. Pierre
  • UFC BANTAMWEIGHT TITLE: Cody Garbrandt © vs. T.J. Dillashaw
  • UFC WOMEN’S STRAWWEIGHT TITLE: Joanna Jerdzejczyk © vs. Rose Namajunas
  • Johnny Hendricks vs. Paulo Borrachinha
  • Mickey Gall vs. Randy Brown
  • UFC 218 is on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 from Detroit Michigan and the line-up is as follows:

  • UFC FEATHERWEIGH TITLE: Max Holloway © vs. Frankie Edgar
  • Henry Cejudo vs. Sergio Pettis
  • Alistair Overeem vs. Francis Ngannou
  • UFC ON FOX is on Saturday, December 16th, 2017 from Winnipeg Canada and the line-up is as follows:

  • Robbie Lawler vs. Rafael dos Anjos
  • Jose Aldo vs. Ricardo Lamas
  • Glover Teixeira vs. Misha Cirkunov
  • Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Jared Cannnonier
  • Tim Elliott vs. Justin Scoggins
  • Chad Laprise vs. Galore Bofando
  • John Makdessi vs. Abel Trujillo
  • UFC 219 is on Saturday, December 30th, 2017 from Las Vegas Nevada and the line-up is as follows:

  • Dominick Cruz vs. Jimmie Rivera
  • Cynthia Cavillo vs. Carla Esparza
  • Carlos Condit vs. Neil Magny
  • Edson Barboza vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov

    - BONUS Random ARTICLE of the week: Down goes Spacey. Critically acclaimed actor Kevin Spacey is the latest caught up in Hollywood’s sex scandals. He is claimed to have come onto a then 14 year old actor Anthony Rapp and now stories are popping out of the woodwork and Netflix has cancelled “House of Cards” after the upcoming season. Spacey has also revealed one of Hollywood’s worst kept secrets, that he is a gay man.

    - BONUS Random ARTICLE of the week PART 1: Sigh. This was right across the street from my job. I am so sorry for those who lost their lives. Thankfully I was already home when it happened but still surreal to be around coming in the next day following the terrorist attack. Being that I have been working here in the downtown New York area since before 9/11, it is frightening to be around here when a 2nd incident has taken place.

    - BONUS Random ARTICLE of the week PART 2: One would think that it isn’t that smart to post something like this to social media no? That is just common sense especially when the victim wasn’t aware of it and had gotten physically sick over some of these acts. SMH.

    - BONUS Random ARTICLE of the week PART 3: I definitely don’t post enough “feel good” stories because there is so much scum in the world so here is one that is good to see.

    - BONUS Random ARTICLE of the week PART 4: Extremely disappointed with this verdict. He should have absolutely had jail time.

    - BONUS Random ARTICLE of the week PART 5: So essentially not only do we have an almost 30 year old homicide here but we have a case of piss poor police work considering they checked his basement back in 1988. SMH.

    - BONUS Random ARTICLE of the week PART 6: It really is a pity that Harvey Weinstein is the reason that Hollywood is being rocked by sex scandals in 2017 when Corey Feldman has been singing all about abuse in Hollywood for DECADES. Thankfully I finally think that people are waking up and starting to believe because that town needs a house cleaning and I am sure that Feldman and his deceased best friend Corey Haim aren’t the only minors in acting that were abused.

    - Thor: Ragnarok has opened to a whopping $108 million internationally last weekend with today being the opening in the United States and estimated to get approximately $100 plus million here. It has several reviews claiming it is the best Marvel movie to date and is certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a 95% approval rating.

    - I have my tickets to see Thor tomorrow at 3 pm so will give you my thoughts next week. Spoiler alert on my thoughts, I am probably going to like it a lot. LOL.

    - Marvel is now shopping their “New Mutants” series as Freeform, the channel that originally ordered the 10 episodes, no longer has room on the schedule for it in 2018 and has given Marvel permission to shop the show around to other networks.

    - Actor Zachary Levi has been cast as “Shazam” in the DC Film Universe.

    - For some reason, ABC has added 2 additional episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy” to this season upping the series order from 22 to 24 episodes this year.

    - According to sources, director Ron Howard has re-shot almost ALL of “Solo: A Star Wars Story” from the beginning thus eliminating the work that Phil Lord and Chris Miller has shot for Disney before they were fired and replaced. This is HUGE.

    - Fox is looking to mix things up with their latest incarnation of the 24 idea. Rather than it be a terrorist related event and centering around CTU, the new format of the show will feature a female prosecutor who uncovers a legal conspiracy and has to work against the clock to save a death row inmate facing imminent execution whom she had helped prosecute but may be innocent. The idea moving forward is to feature new characters each season and different concepts from different professions all racing against the clock so essentially the only thing remaining the same will be that there is 24 hours that they need before something bad happens.

    - ABC’s General Hospital has been fantastic with the return of Steve Burton as the “two Jason” storyline is top notch daytime soap opera stuff. Well done.

    - I am behind on my CW shows this week as I did not watch any of them yet. Hopefully will catch up this weekend at some point.
