Mike Johns's Maverick Radio: Episode 64
"Break The Code" 60 Minutes
In 2008, with the help of various music-making software, Mike Johns finally realized one of his life-long goals, producing and recording his own music. Over the next 4 years, he would go on to record nearly 50 original songs, as well as over a dozen covers, releasing several of them on various music hosting sites, as well as YouTube under the name "SaviorSelf.07.05.98". Now, for the first time, ClubWWI brings to you the music of SaviorSelf.07.05.98 as it was originally intended with the release of Break The Code, the first full-length LP, including the song that was featured in national syndication as a part of several episodes of the SubGenius Hour of Slack, "Rage the SubGenius Way", as well as SS7598's most popular song, "Dear Johnny Cash, Please Kill My Radio". Produced and recorded by Mike Johns on a PC in 2008, Break The Code represents the earliest recordings of SS7598, representing approximately 10 years worth of attempted songwriting and composition. Now, this labor of love is being presented to you, as it was always intended to be.
