Big Moments:

The McMahon-Helmsley Regime is throwing its weight around. This past Monday was one of the most gratuitous uses of power over the past few months. Triple H, and Stephanie, are on a power trip that could rival anything Mr. McMahon ever went on. The scary thing: they’ve just begun.

Raw started with Triple H wanting to give Big Show a place to give up all that anger he has in his system. Triple H knew there was a lot. Thus, he put Big Show against Daniel Bryan in the main event. Randy, Stephanie, and Triple H were very happy with themselves. They also felt like helping out those who have said some negative things about them over the past week. They’d let them be dealt with later.

Big Show wasn’t in the mood for a fight. He wanted a fight, but he wasn’t looking for one with Daniel Bryan. That’s the side he wanted to fight on. Stephanie curbed that enthusiasm as she publically laid out Big Show’s financial woes. People have wondered, for weeks, why The Big Show didn’t help Bryan even though he has an unbreakable contract. The answer came from Daddy’s Little Princess; Big Show is broke.

Stephanie brought The Giant into the ring and, in front of everyone watching, told him all about the financial troubles he’d been hiding. They all know. Triple H and Stephanie really care. They want to help. If Big Show follows orders his finances will be fine. If he doesn’t, he has then breached his own contract and they can fire him. Big Show’s contract may be unbreakable, but he has to perform if signed to perform. Show, distraught and broken, decided he would enter the ring later in the night.

Daniel Bryan ended the night on his back. He was just too stubborn for his own good. Big Show tried to warn him. He asked him to just leave. The WWE locker room was forced to watch as Bryan and Big Show were both given a place to vent their frustrations: the ring and their bodies. Daniel needed to get out some aggression. He forced the Big Show to do it as well.

Big Show held back. He was reluctant to hurt Bryan. He just needed the American Dragon to stop. It didn’t matter. Triple H sent his dogs of war to the ring to make sure that Bryan got the beating they felt he deserved. Big Show watched, reluctantly, as The Shield took Bryan out. The WWE Champion, Randy Orton, made his way down afterward and then RKO’d his NoC challenger.

Triple H and Stephanie called upon their friend one more time. Big Show begged to be left alone. He just wanted to leave. They let him. That was until the Helmsley Family talked to their Giant one more time. It was what he needed to do for his family. Big Show entered the ring, fought back his self-hate, and laid Daniel Bryan out with one punch.

Big Show, broken, made his way back to the locker room as Raw went off the air.

Cody Rhodes felt the power of the new regime. Cody Rhodes made a comment walking passed Orton and Triple H early in the night about how it was dumb they were beating Daniel. Orton could beat Daniel, easy. He wasn’t scared was he? Really? Bryan couldn’t be this terrifying.

At that moment, Triple H remembered Cody was getting married over the weekend. He wasn’t invited. Orton wasn’t invited, either. They were all so close. How could it slip Cody’s mind? Although he wasn’t invited to the wedding, Triple H decided to give Cody Rhodes a wedding present. Cody Rhodes would face Randy Orton on Raw. The Grandson of a Plumber’s job would be on the line.

That pressure was a bit too much. The WWE Universe was on Cody’s side. He fought the best contest of his life. None of this mattered in the end. It only takes a second for the RKO to put someone down. Both men fought valiantly. In the end, a cheap shot to the knee gave Orton an opening to put Cody Rhodes out of a job.

CM Punk won’t drop any pipebombs for a bit. He has one goal in mind: Paul Heyman. CM Punk is just one week away from an encounter that could leave him in the ring with Paul Heyman for a one-on-one contest. The Voice of the Voiceless is focused. He is zoned in on his goal. The Second City Saint has made one promise, something the longest reigning champ doesn’t take lightly, to the WWE Universe. CM Punk will get his hands on Paul Heyman and unleash a demon that no one in this world thinks is within him.

Punk was blunt and to the point. Paul Heyman was probably worried before, but now, he might need to be searching for a bigger insurance plan.

Little Moments:

Rob Van Dam continues his momentum. Having a new manager has helped RVD. He has been on a role since his return and Alberto Del Rio seems to be thrown off his game. Normally, the champ would be far more confident in his upcoming defense. Right now, due to Ricardo helping RVD, Del Rio seems to be a bit disheveled. If RVD keeps this up for another two weeks we’ll have a new World Champion.

AJ Lee’s comments have stirred the Divas. Last week, AJ Lee pissed off every woman in her path when telling them just how it is. The Champ sat in and watched as three women fought for a chance at her title this week. AJ was still a pipebomb all her own. She didn’t let the match reach a conclusion. No, AJ didn’t think the ladies deserved that. The champ entered the ring, and after a three woman beat-down, was laid out as the other ladies walked away.

Dolph Ziggler is still paying for his disagreements with the McMahon Helmsley Regime. This week, Dolph was scheduled to fight a mystery opponent. Dean Ambrose attacked him from behind. The US Champ laid out Dolph in the ring before his real challenger entered. Ryback came down and was ready for a fight. Ziggler was in no shape to compete. It just made Ryback happier. Zigglypuff was putty in Ryback’s hands.

Five Questions for WWE:

1)       Is this why Triple H hasn’t done any of the “be a star” programs?

2)       Did you guys really expect the crowd to want Big Show to help so badly?

3)       Did the internet make you talk about Big Show’s contract?

4)       Is this your response to Aces and Eights?

5)       Who else will actually stand up to the Regime?
