The Bad Girls Club Season 17 - Episode 2: See Ya Later, Instigator

By James Bullock Feb 23, 2017 - 8:23 PM print

Previously on The Bad Girls Club: Seven new Bad Girls entered the BGC mansion, and it didn’t take long before problem arose thanks to Sayyora letting everyone know about Susan’s marriage and how unfaithful she is – thus turning Sayyora into the most untrustworthy person in the house.

Episode 2 – See Ya Later, Instigator

The episode picks up the morning after the last episode ended as Deshayla actually takes it upon herself to try and help Sayyora fix the situation she caused, but seeing the two holding hands around the house made everyone question how real Deshayla is as she was right with the other girls talking bad about Sayyora the night before. A sit-down occurs shortly after and Keyaira demands an apology from Sayyora for running up on her the night before and Kiyanna blocked a potential fight. Sayyora is obviously taken aback and refuses to apologize. Keyaira took a walk to let this situation settle. Sayyora eventually apologizes because the next day is the season’s promotional photo shoot. Thoughts on the apology Keyaira?

Kiyanna decides to confront Deshayla about being two-faced in regards to handling the “Sayyora having a big mouth” situation. The discussion moves beyond two people as Kiyanna starts complaining about Deshayla grabbing her wrists during the argument. Everyone sees the moment as Kiyanna trying to start drama and not her hoping to settle a non-issue. Thankfully the problems don’t bleed into the next day’s cast photo shoot, but Keyaira has a problem with simply taking the photo in the fashion the photographers want. But things eventually work out and the girls hit up the town to eat, drink, and talk about how Francesca is the most positive person in the house. Of course the drive home ruins a good night as Kiyanna and Susan get into an argument, once again, about Susan’s marriage. Kiyanna is so infuriated she threatens to light Susan up … literally.

Things get physical between Susan and Kiyanna as the latter starts chest bumping Susan. It seems like Keyaira is able to separate the two, but Susan simply asking, “Have you seen me cheat on my husband?” has Kiyanna rushing her with Keyaira somehow muscling her friend backwards (does Kiyanna really want to fight?). The focus shifts to the problems between Susan and Sayyora as Susan calls the latter out for being a big mouth. Sayyora makes a good point that Susan was way too open with someone she just met. Ironically enough, Kiyanna actually finds a way to bond with Sayyora over the fact they both feel Susan is blaming her problems on them. But forget all that hostility mess because Francesca has a plan to not only make people forget about what’s going on, but also get some points on the board courtesy of the BGC Bucket List. Sayyora joins Francesca in stripping down and dancing on the roof.

It seems like Francesca’s plan worked pretty well as all the girls head out to shop together and new friendships are being formed thanks to Kiyanna finding something in common with Francesca & Sayyora. Things are actually getting better between Susan and Keyaira, too due to Susan explaining her old home life and how it affects her current standing with men and even some women. But chilling just isn’t enough for Kiyanna as she rubs her booty on Susan’s bed and tells everyone just so they can run tell Susan.

Susan eventually gets the information that Kiyanna’s coochie has marked her sheets. Just grinning, Kiyanna runs into the room where an angry Susan sits to discover this girl is ready to handle a situation Kiyanna intentionally started. When Kiyanna challenges her, Susan accepts in grand fashion!

Security gets between the two, yet the tension is still high as Kiyanna keeps mouthing off. Sayyora is having the time of her life watching this, so Keyaira takes matters into her own hands by confronting Sayyora to close out the show as only Bad Girls can.

Episode High(s): Stand Up to Knock Down. After a typical first episode where the pot was just getting stirred between the likes of Susan & Sayyora, things quickly picked up when Kiyanna decided to instigate situations she really didn’t have a reason to be a part of just coming off the previous episode and even some of the stuff that happened during this one. And in the perfect way to end an episode we had a pair of fights, with one resulting in a cliffhanger fight. It might be petty, but it was sheer excitement that only “The Bad Girls Club” can & will produce.

Episode Low(s): Hold Me Back. While Kiyanna’s general pettiness in hopes of starting drama did get irritating after a while, the ends did justify the means. But that whole situation where like Keyaira was somehow holding her back from fighting Susan the first time was so suspicious and really hurt Kiyanna’s aura of being as bad as one would’ve expected.

Evictions: None

B**** Counter (songs with the word used in them not counted): 38 times

Fight Counter (opening preview and near-fights not counted): 2

Favorite BG of the Week: Susan. Yes, she was a little scatterbrained in her approach as to who she should go after during the episode (one minute she’s trying to set the record straight with Kiyanna, only to remember she has beef with Sayyora), but Susan did what needed to be done in both situations by standing up for herself even to the point she had a sling Kiyanna to the ground. She might make an enemy of people in the end, but at least she’s standing up for herself.

Pack Yo’ Bags: Sayyora. While Kiyanna was the biggest problem maker in this episode, everything ended up with people coming after Sayyora due to her actions from the previous episode. Susan’s fight with Kiyanna turned into another argument with Sayyora. Susan’s fight with Kiyanna turned into a fight between Keyaira and Sayyora. It’s only inevitable that Sayyora gets beaten out of the house.

Episode Summary in Five Words or Less: Don’t hold me back
